Air fryer wings are the best!

There's so many different ways to season them and they turn out crispy and perfectly juicy every time.

One of our favorites are these Garlic Parmesan Pizza Wings! They are super delicious with or without the pizza sauce, and are a favorite of everyone who's tried them.

These easy wings are a simple dinner idea or great as a party or game day appetizer. They get their amazing flavor from the garlic parmesan butter sauce that coats the wings. Those flavors pair well with the pizza sauce, making them taste just like a slice of pizza.

Kids love them too!

Hazel is a fan of flats, just like her mama. Sometimes I serve them to her for dinner without the garlic parmesan sauce and sometimes with. She loves dipping them in the pizza sauce too!

Recipe tips:

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
  • We own a Ninja air fryer and these cook in about 18 minutes to the crispiness we love! Different brands may heat differently and wing sizes vary, so adjust the time or temperature accordingly and use a meat thermometer if you're unsure. You'll want the wings to be super crispy so the sauce coats them and doesn't make them soggy. Pre-heat your air fryer if needed.

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Breading:
  • ½ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Wings:
  2. In a bowl, season the wings with garlic powder, onion powder and ½ teaspoon salt. Toss to evenly coat.
  3. In a separate shallow bowl, combine the flour, ½ teaspoon salt and black pepper.
  4. Lightly coat each wing with the flour mixture, then add to your air fryer basket on the broil rack.
  5. Space wings evenly and cook in batches if needed.
  6. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes, then flip and air fry for another 8 minutes or until crispy and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
  7. Remove from the air fryer and place wings in a bowl.
  8. Sauce:
  9. Meanwhile, add the butter to a bowl and melt in the microwave. Stir in the garlic powder, parsley, black pepper and parmesan.
  10. Drizzle butter mixture over the wings and toss to coat. (we cook the wings in two batches, using half the butter for the first batch, and half for the second.)
  11. Serve with pizza sauce for dipping.
