This super simple Pom Pom Easter Bunny Paper Plate Craft is so fun! Hazel is almost three and she had a blast making this with me.

She absolutely loves gluing everything, so this was the perfect art project for her. She helped me glue on most of the pom poms and I finished the craft when she got distracted with something else.

You can have your kiddos practice their scissor skills by having them cut out the ears. Just trace a pattern on the paper, then they can start cutting.

This cute bunny craft would be a fun Easter gift for grandparents, aunts, uncles or any other special people in your life.

Pom Pom Bunny Paper Plate Craft

Author: Sweet Hazel Honey

materials:

  • 6” paper plate
  • 40 white pom poms
  • 1 pink pom pom
  • 2 black pipe cleaners
  • 1 light brown pipe cleaner
  • glue or glue dots
  • 2 pieces of construction paper or scrapbook paper
  • 2 googly eyes
  • scissors

steps:

  1. On a paper plate, glue down about 40 white pom poms starting from the edge and working your way into the center.
  2. While pom poms are drying, cut out two large ears about 4” on one sheet of paper. Cut two smaller bunny ears on the other piece of paper of about 3”.
  3. Glue the smaller ear onto the larger ears and glue them to the top of the paper plate.
  4. Cut the two black pipe cleaners into fourths. Twist them in the middle and glue on top of the pom pom in the center of the plate for the whiskers. Let dry.
  5. Add the pink pom pom in between the middle of the black pipe cleaners for the nose.
  6. Cut the light brown pipe cleaner into halves. Take the one half and fold and place under the whiskers for the mouth.
  7. Glue on the googly eyes and your bunny is finished!
