These fun Zombie Meatball Eyeballs are SO perfect for any Halloween celebration!

Make your own meatballs, or use the fully cooked frozen ones. Either way, they're easy to make and kids absolutely love them.

They're ready in 30 minutes and great served with your favorite "bloody" dipping sauce. We recommend BBQ sauce, marinara sauce, regular ketchup or spicy ketchup.

You can serve them on a platter with dipping sauce on the side, or on small plates. If you're plating, spread out some of the sauce on the plate with a spoon, then set the meatballs on top.

These would also be fun served on top of spaghetti for a dinner at home with the kids around Halloween too!

Zombie Meatball Eyeballs

Ingredients

  • 1 - 32 ounce bag of fully cooked frozen meatballs
  • 1- 8 ounce package mozzarella pearls
  • 1 - 6 ounce can of black olives, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, or the temperature it calls for on the back of your meatballs.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and place the meatballs on the baking sheet, in a single layer.
  3. Bake for 15-18 minutes or as directed on your package, and remove from the oven.
  4. Set a mozzarella pearl on top of each meatball and hold in place with a toothpick to ensure it doesn’t slip off.
  5. Return to the oven, and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and gently remove the toothpicks from the mozzarella pearls, and place a sliced olive on top, pushing the mozzarella pearl down slightly with the olive.
  7. Serve warm with barbecue sauce, marinara sauce or ketchup.
