If you're looking for an affordable party cupcake, you have to give these Orange Creamsicle Cupcakes a try! The whole batch costs around $5 and it makes 24 cupcakes!

The cupcake batter is made with only two ingredients and the frosting has only 2 ingredients too! You also need liners, straws and sprinkles, to make them as pictured, but you could skip the straws and sprinkles to save some cash.

These cupcakes have a delightful orange flavor from the soda and a hint of vanilla from the cake mix. The creamy frosting is the perfect match with the orange.

This cupcake batter works so well because the carbonation in the soda helps make them light and fluffy, like a leavening agent.

Birthday party on a budget is easy to do with this recipe!
