I swear these Monster Rice Krispie Treats are just the cutest! They're also simple to make, fun and your kids will love to help make them!

My family happens to love Rice Krispie Treats, so these were fun to try and give a little twist on the classic. We typically make homemade, but we did use pre-packaged Rice Krispies Treats for these.

You can make these sweet treats for a Halloween party, your kiddos lunch box, or a monster party. They're also great to pair with a monster book or learning activity.

Recipe tips:

  • Store in an airtight container for up to two days. These can also be made ahead and frozen. If you want to freeze, wrap each monster treat in plastic wrap, then place them in a freezer safe ziploc bag. Freeze for up to 2 months.
  • Use any color candy melts you like!
  • Get creative! After the monsters dry, use edible markers to draw mouths and other features on your monsters. You can also add some sprinkles before they dry.
  • Insert a popsicle stick into the bottom Rice Krispies Treat so kiddos can hold onto them easier.
  • If you have extra melted candy melts, drizzle it over some pretzels or potato chips for a sweet and salty treat!
  • Make your own rice krispies bars instead of using store bought.
